Moon plays an important role in one’s life as it represents one’s mental status
Once can achieve something only if they have their mind set on it .This is where moon comes into the picture as if you have a strong moon you will be able to work hard towards your goal if not then it gets difficult to do soNow we have heard about the 16 kalas or the phases of moon
This basically means that once moon is waxing or waining the energy of the moon is changingEach tithi corresponds to a certain number of kalas, increasing from 1 to 15 during Shukla Paksha and decreasing from 15 to 0 during Krishna Paksha.
The 16 kalas are as follows
1. Aishwarya – Prosperity / Divine wealth / Sovereignty
2. Leela – Divine play / Creative spontaneity
3. Saundarya – Beauty / Aesthetic grace
4. Vidya – Knowledge / Wisdom
5. Smriti – Memory / Remembrance
6. Dhriti – Patience / Emotional stability / Steadfastness
7. Kirti – Fame / Divine reputation
8. Murti – Divine form / Embodied divinity
9. Kanti – Radiance / Aura / Glow
10. Madhurya – Sweetness / Charm / Pleasing nature
11. Vāk Siddhi – Perfection of speech / Speech that manifests
12. Sangeet – Music / Harmony through sound
13. Saubhagya – Good fortune / Auspiciousness
14. Lavanya – Gracefulness / Elegance
15. Purnata – Completeness / Wholeness
16. Shanti – Peace / Inner tranquilityThese kalas helps us to understand our relation with our mother about our creative expression ,mental health,spiritual evolution .
