Offer Lotus flower to Shri Vishnu or Shri Krishna on every Friday, donate water filter in temple, listen nd if possible recite Shri suktam, grow lotus plant in a pot take good care of that plant, consume kapardak bhasma. Do jal abhishek of shivling with a flower in water and if possible add some gangajal into that water. Be very carefully whenever u go for a ganga snan or for a holy bath in a river chances are high that u end up harming yourself there.
