Journey of houses
We don’t necessarily have to go through the journey of all houses; otherwise, we get stuck in external karma. The 6th house, represented by Virgo—the virgin and the sign of service and disease—symbolizes this entanglement.
If we can instead leap directly to the 12th house, there is no indulgence in external karma. The 12th represents dissolution, liberation, and detachment from worldly engagement.
Any living being begins to feel the need for someone else only when there’s an internal void—when the self feels incomplete and seeks fulfillment from the outside. That’s why the 7th house represents the spouse (partnership), the 9th house represents the father, gurus, and the lineage (DNA, dharma).
In numerology, the number 6 is associated with Venus, the planet of desires, bonds, and attraction. Perhaps this is why Venus is debilitated in Virgo (6th sign), where analysis and separation dominate, and exalted in Pisces (12th sign), where selfless love, dissolution, and divine union prevail—just the opposite.
